Supporters of LLID
An announcement from Marcia Smith-Woodard at the Indiana State Library. Please contact her at mwoodard@library.IN.gov with any questions. ~ Rochelle Smith, InSLA President-Elect
Hi Supporters of LLID,
The Diversity Advisory Council pledged its support to mentor our candidates and ALI, ADOLPLI, IBLN, ILF, and InSLA all signed on to help. We will meet the candidates as a group and get to know them in a 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. session during their Orientation at the Indiana State Library on Wednesday, December 3.
If you would like to meet the candidates and offer your assistance, please let me know by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, December 1. Let me know what type of library you work in/have experience in – and in what areas of librarianship you would be willing to mentor.
Our candidates have varied interests, some of which include but are not limited to: Archives, Art, Children’s Services, Collection Development, History, Information Technology, Literacy, Philanthropic Studies, Rare Book Collections, Reference, Senior Services, and Youth Services in Academic, Public, School Libraries and Museums.
Thanks again for any assistance you can offer.
